The SWADDLE UP™ HIP HARNESS SWADDLE has been specially designed for babies being treated for hip dysplasia. It has been designed with a wider fit at the bottom, so it can be worn over a hip dysplasia harness or brace. Soft fabric at the base of the swaddle delivers extra stretch and flexion for hips and legs, making this a ‘hip-healthy’ design approved by Healthy Hips Australia and the International Hip Dysplasia Institute.

The SWADDLE UP™ design allows your baby to sleep in a natural position with their ARMS UP™ giving them access to their hands so they can truly self soothe. The SWADDLE UP™ HIP HARNESS SWADDLE is made from specially woven, high-quality cotton, 1.0 TOG fabric that helps regulate temperature and is suitable for moderate climates.

It worked great

I got the swaddles as we had our first hip ultrasound and thought after a repeat ultrasound that we would need harness for our then 6 wo girl. So I was using the swaddle so that I could ensure that her legs were up in a W position when she was sleeping. It worked great. Excellent to see that now there is a transition LTD too! Rachel M

I am so glad that my mum discovered your shop when my daughter was first diagnosed with hip dysplasia. My daughter, Charlotte, is ten weeks old and has been in a Pavlik Harness for two weeks now. I have ordered a few things from your store so far and I’ve loved them all. The hip friendly beanbag is a hit with Charlotte and the Love to Dream hip harness sleep sacks are a hit for me because I was really stressing about how she was going to sleep without her sleep sacks. Thank goodness she doesn’t have to! She also loves to wear her onesies which are much more comfortable for her with the high cut leg design. Hi, my grand daughter was diagnosed with hip displacia at 8 weeks old and was fitted with s DBB brace. I purchased the bean bag, the swaddles and the nappy covers and we are extremely happy with everything and I will be buying more . I didn’t know anything about the brace and what my grand daughter needed , Jessica was very helpful and took the time to educate me about the products too. she absolutely loves the new sleeping bag

My daughter was 3 months and previously being wrapped prior to her hip dysplasia diagnosis. I ordered the love to dream sleeping bag (medium) to fit over her Pavlick Harness and after one night of using the sleeping bag where she struggled to sleep not having her arms wrapped at her sides she absolutely loves the new sleeping bag. If anything she is more settled in the sleeping bag and it's certainly easier to use than a wrap which she would wriggle out of during the night. Ordering through Hipsleepers webpage was very fast and easy and delivery was very prompt. I would recommend this company to all new hippie families. Rebecca D
