Featuring a snug upper half, and wide, bell-bottomed bottom half, the Hip Harness Cocoon Swaddle Bag keeps baby feeling secure, while accommodating the hip harness, brace or cast comfortably. This swaddle bag keeps baby snug by restricting startle reflex. This gives a feeling of closeness, mimicking the womb and helping baby to sleep longer. With ergoPouch's signature press studs on the armholes, it can be used as a swaddle or sleeping bag, making it suitable for both babies with a strong startle reflex and those who like to sleep freely. Once swaddled babies start to show signs of rolling, transition them to arms-out sleeping by releasing the press studs.
Made from ergoPouch's signature GOTS-certified organic cotton jersey material with a mix of bamboo viscose for stretch. The range includes a 1.0 TOG and 2.5 TOG Bag.
When on a baby, the pouch will have additional length below the harness. This length can be left as is, or rolled up underneath the harness for the brace to rest on if that’s comfortable for them. Once baby is out of their brace, they can continue to safely use the Hip Harness Cocoon Swaddle Bag for sleep.
