The Hip Harness Jersey Sleeping Bag is for infants and toddlers who are being treated for hip dysplasia and are required to wear a harness, brace or cast.
Designed for arms-out sleepers (usually from around 4 months of age), the stretchy Jersey Bag is recommended as baby’s first sleeping bag after the swaddling phase is over.
FEATURES
The extra wide bell-shaped bottom is approved by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute as being hip-healthy and comfortably accommodates hip braces and harnesses. The Jersey Bag features a two-way zip for ease of use and simple overnight nappy changes.
Made from ergoPouch's signature GOTS-certified organic cotton jersey material with a mix of bamboo viscose for stretch. The range includes a 1.0 TOG and 2.5 TOG Bag.
When on a baby, the pouch will have additional length below the harness. This length can be left as is, or rolled up underneath the harness for the brace to rest on if that’s comfortable for them. Once baby is out of their brace, they can continue to safely use the Hip Harness Jersey Sleeping Bag for sleep.
